Currently based in Paris, William is a freelance documentary photographer available for shoots both locally and internationally.
Focused on mixing reportage and portraiture, William is deeply invested in using images to tell stories about both quiet, mundane moments as well as exploring deeper societal issues. Led by a strong social conscious, he has been involved with the non-profit organization Witness Change since its inception. The Director of Communications, William works with partners and exhibitors to raise Witness Change’s profile and developed Social Media strategies and content for the Where Love is Illegal campaign.
William holds a Bachelor’s degree in photojournalism from the University of Missouri’s School of Journalism. While pursuing his degree, William also attended Danish School of Media and Journalism (DMJX) in Aarhus, Denmark. He was selected as part of their highly competitive, international photojournalism program.
In addition to his documentary and commercial work, William is a founding member of the photography tourism based site Aperture Tours which has quickly expanded from Paris to a greater international reach.
